Non-Discrimination Statement
The Alexander County Housing Authority (ACHA) prohibits discrimination in all its programs and activities on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, religion, age, disability, political beliefs, sexual orientation or marital or family status. Persons with disabilities who require alternative means for communication of program information should contact the ACHA’s office at 618-734-1910. Smoke-Free Public Housing Notice
HUD issued the “Smoke-Free” Public Housing Final Notice in the Federal Register on December 5, 2016. The notice required that all public housing become “Smoke-Free” within eighteen months after the publication date. As a result of this mandatory HUD requirement, all of Alexander County Housing Authority (ACHA) public housing properties and buildings became “Smoke-Free” effective July 30, 2018.
